We’re Not Closing!

This past weekend at the Palestine Wine Festival, we were asked several times if we were closing along with Vahling’s and Lasata Winery. The answer is: No way — we are still here!

Castle Finn is very much alive and well, and we’re booking weddings and events into 2026. Please help us spread the word that we are NOT closing.

We’re not sure where these rumors get started, but they’re simply not true. Has the wine business changed since Covid? Absolutely. Did Covid hurt? Of course it did. But we are still here, still pouring, and still celebrating with all of you.

If you ever wonder, please just ask us directly instead of listening to the grapevine. 😉 We appreciate every single one of you and can’t thank you enough for your support!

Hours CST open the rest of October:
Friday: Noon to 6pm
Saturday: 10am to 6pm
Sunday: Noon to 5pm

November and December CST Hours:
Friday: Noon to 6pm
Saturday: Noon to 6pm (this is the only day that changes)
Sunday: Noon to 5pm.

Closures & Hours Updates

For the most up-to-date information on closures or changes to our hours, please follow us on Facebook, or call or text Sonya at 217-712-0253.

A few times a year, we close for private events. These closures are usually announced on Facebook in advance, and we do our best to post them here on our website as well. Occasionally, technical issues may prevent timely updates online, but we work quickly to resolve them. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

For all other weddings, our winery remains open to the public until 6:00 pm. After that, we close to the public for the private celebration. We kindly ask that guests do not enter the banquet hall, as it is reserved exclusively for the wedding party. However, the tasting room and patios remain open until 6:00 pm for your enjoyment.
